MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO ON CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
Dear friends,
The global situation regarding Coronavirus is evolving quickly. At Grapevine6, we are taking it very seriously and thinking about how we can help our employees and their families, our clients, and the global community.
First of all, in order to flatten the curve and reduce transmission of this virus, all of our employees are practicing physical distancing by working from home and cancelling all travel until further notice.
Second, we know a lot of people out there are going through hard times and dealing with temporary and permanent layoffs as the uncertainty in the market continues. This may be the time to switch jobs, industries, and even professions. It’s hard to know where to start, but one positive step is working on your personal brand. We learned early on that our app could help professionals to further their careers and help put their best foot forward in landing their next job so we’ve kept our app available for free on Apple App Store and Google Play Store to help since the beginning.
We highly recommend social media as an invaluable tool in your career development – research, connect, share, engage around your dream job. If you’re a professional, we highly recommend focusing on LinkedIn as the main platform to influence your success. The Grapevine6 app is a free resource that recommends relevant content to share to build your presence on LinkedIn.
Third, we realise that the digital transformation is now accelerating across many of our clients, and the importance of digital communication and its transparency is evolving rapidly. We are supporting our clients by curating COVID-19-related content in our system, often manually filtering and assembling articles for their employees to share and reference. Our goal is to continue to enable our clients to quickly educate people, provide the right resources, content, data, and methods to communicate effectively and in compliance with company policy. We believe that this will help our clients maintain open channels of communication with their clients and prospects and add value in those channels.
Last but not least we are exploring ways to support the charitable fundraising community. The demand and complexity of delivering service is increasing and the traditional fundraising events are on hold indefinitely. Grapevine6 provides Providence Healthcare Foundation, a charitable organization, with free access to our Enterprise-tier platform subscription to engage donors and build the brands and social engagement of their fundraising team. We are currently extending that support to charitable organizations that are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic for the duration of the event.
